The place

A café in the morning, a restaurant at night, and a reading room in between.
The Village started as a coffee house. It still is one — espresso, mint tea, pressed juice, breakfast formulas from 8am. But as the day goes on the place changes trade: the wood oven is lit, the menu lengthens, and the café becomes a restaurant.
In between, there's the study space. A quiet corner for reading, revising and working, bookable in advance like a table. It came about naturally: students were already settling in for the afternoon, so we may as well make proper room for them.
And in the evening it's a family place. Big tables, the planted terrace, ice cream and sweet crêpes. The architecture helps — lime-washed domes, terracotta jars along the street, banana trees and cacti spilling out of their pots. You walk through a garden before you ever reach a table.

What we care about
The wood oven
Pizzas bake in front of you, open flame, on a stone that's been heating all day.
Room to study
A quiet space kept for working, where you can stay for hours without being hurried out.
Open sixteen hours a day
8am to midnight, every day. From the first coffee to the last dessert.

The logo's history
The logo has never stayed put for long. Here are the six versions, in order, as the house actually used them.
2017The domes, in outline
The very first mark isn't a café logo at all but a building: the roofline of the domes drawn in a single stroke, the name set beneath it in beige.
2018The round stamp
The name moves into a circle, in worn letterpress type, with “BRUNCH & COFFEE” arched above. This is the shape that lasts longest.
2018The same, on wood
A few months on, the stamp is set on a board: same drawing, different material. The beige wash gives way to raw wood.
2020The stamp on foliage
The circle tightens and settles onto a bed of green leaves — this is the version that carries the menu cover.
2021FOOD | DRINKS
The circle disappears. The name fills the whole surface, white on black, and the line beneath becomes “FOOD | DRINKS”.
2022In use todayThe elephant
The elephant arrives, covered in white folk linework, with the name below it and “COFFEE & BRUNCH” underneath. This is today's logo: on the cups, the jars and the sign.
